Omsk regional youth public organization “Ecological Watch of Siberia”

2000 is year of foundation

On September 17, 2007 was registered by Ministry of Justice of Russian Federation, the Federal Registration Service of Omsk Oblast, № 1075500002775.

The chairman of organization is Sergej Alexandrovich Soloviev, author and co-author of 210 publications of ecology animals and environment in Russian and foreign languages. As a base of research work, which is coming from 1973, he published monograph “Birds of Omsk and environs” in publish house “Nauka” in 2005 (290 pages). He served as academic secretary of the Dissertation Council for defense of Candidate theses of “Zoology” and “Ecology” in Omsk State Pedagogical University and active participated in work of creating Red Book of Omsk Oblast. In October 2005 he passed the internship in Californian national parks (the USA) of organization works in Natural Reserves. In January and February 2000 and in June, July and August 2003 he had the internship of DAAD in Institute of Ornithology (Vogelwarte Radolfzell). The scientific head of Internship in Vogelwarte Radolfzell was Prof. Peter Berthold (Germany). He participated in different ecological conferences, also abroad (Germany, 2003, the USA, 2005). In 2007 Sergej A. Soloviev participated in the work of creating Report about the condition of Environment of Omsk Oblastin Ministry of politic, transport and communications in Omsk Oblast.

Nowadays Sergej A. Soloviev is Doctor of biological science, Professor of Dostoevsky Omsk State University.
